Retirement Plan Coordinator:

A Retirement Plan Coordinator acts as a support person for the Retirement Plan Consultant. Through the evolution of this role, Coordinators will begin in an administrative role; preparing documents, collecting client’s financials, and following up via phone or email. Through training and experience, Coordinators will learn how to prepare the Form 5500 and assist with plan testing and audits. This position also offers remote working opportunities.

Retirement Plan Consultant:

Retirement Plan Consultants serve as a relationship manager for plan sponsors and financial advisors for matters related to ERISA compliance, plan design, and governmental reporting. This position serves as the retirement plan resource for compliance testing, Form 5500s, and loans and distributions. Lastly, Consultants understand plan design and can assist on plan operation and document updates. This position also offers remote working opportunities.

Actuarial Analyst:

An Actuarial Analyst is an entry-level role that acts as a support person for the Enrolled Actuary. Our analysts assist in the actuarial valuation, administration, government filings, and compliance processes of Defined Benefit and Cash Balance plans. We ensure all analysts receive training in all aspects of pension administration.

Enrolled Actuary:

Our Enrolled Actuaries have one of two areas of specialization.

Defined Benefit and Cash Balance Plans

    • This role serves as a consultant in the valuation, administration, and compliance of Defined Benefit and Cash Balance plans. Additionally, they serve as a resource to plan sponsors and financial advisors for matters related to ERISA compliance, plan design, and governmental reporting.

Pension and Qualified Plans

    • This role acts as a behind-the-scenes expert, reviewing client work to ensure high-quality deliverables based on research regarding pension law and regulations. This role also works closely with a Lead Actuary and management for consulting purposes. This position also offers remote working opportunities.
